Hi! My name is Carrie Brady. I have been part of The Groom Room family for well over a decade. I began as a Grooming Assistant and later became The Pet Service Coordinator and Bookkeeper. I am now very exited to lead in the newest Groom Room endeavor, Pet sitting! I have covered the spectrum of pets, from petite to extra-large, kittens to Great Danes. I also have experience with exotics including birds, fish, Guinea pigs, rabbits and reptiles. I have always been a true animal lover and working with animals will always be a lifelong passion of mine.

NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION:
Our pet sitter coordinator will come to your home and meet with you and your pet to familiarize themselves with your and your pet’s needs. At this consultation your coordinator will:
Familiarize themselves with your pet and your pets schedule ensuring they are a good candidate for dog walking/pet sitting.
Take detailed notes and a picture of you pets or pets.
Explain the contract and check in sheet.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
We will contact you and make arrangements with a designated friend or neighbor if it happens that roads are unsafe or impassable. Every effort will be made to care for your pet during this time. If you have a change of plans during this time please notify us so we can re-arrange our schedule.
HOLIDAYS:
There will be an additional $30.00 charge for peak holiday visits. New Years Eve and New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
KEYS:
We require 2 sets of keys unless you provide a lock box at the location. One key is needed for the office. In the event that lock box is not working and we need to drive and emergency key there will be a one time fee of $30.00.
PAYMENTS:
New clients: 50% deposit due before service, remainder due completion of service.
Existing clients: 100% due on completion of services.
Payment may be made in the office, on line using PayPal, check, cash or by calling the office. $25.00 returned check fee.
MID DAY DOG WALKS:
Are you away from home for an extended amount of time during the day? Our mid-day dog walks are designed to keep your pet comfortable and happy and out of trouble while your away. We can visit early morning mid day or evening to keep your mind at ease knowing your dog is fine and waiting your return home.
DON’T FORGET YOUR FELINE FRIEND:
Let’s face it. Cats are pretty self sufficient and sometimes just want their space. Its always a good idea to make a quick visit to the house and check on the cleanliness of the litter box and make sure they have fresh water and food. Your time away will be less stressful for you and more fun it you know your feline friend is happy and well cared for while you are away.
HAVE A NEW PUPPY?
Puppies need to be fed and supervised often in the beginning. Crate training can be fast and easy if a regular schedule is followed. Most puppies eliminate in their kennels because their bladders are not yet developed enough to hold it an entire day. Letting them out every 3-4 hours makes it less stressful for both you and the puppy.
CANCELLATIONS:
Please give 24hours notice for schedule changes or cancellations. Less than 24 hours will result in a $20.00 charge.
HOUSE CHECKS:
When your going out of town with your pets and need someone to water your plants, bring in your mail, turn on and off your lights we can do that also.
